Brilliant Haze
Chapter Three
Harold immediately covers his nose to prevent the makeup from getting removed by Blandine's lick.
"What's the matter, boy?" Blandine said with a conniving smile.
Now only using his pointing finger to cover the nose, Harold responds. "No, nothing. I just didn't expect you to lick me. That's all."
She leans forward and lays her breasts on the table. "Like what you see?"
Harold naturally moves his eyes to the cleavage, but immediately looks up to make eye contact with the banker. "Depends on what the interest rates are if I were to deposit a large sum."
Blandine leans back onto her chair. "Well, then! Let's get started and then you can come to my place when this is done." She smirks.
During the process, Harold explained that he wanted to make sure his money would be safe from the authorities. He was assured and guaranteed by the banker that his money will not be touched by anyone except himself. The only thing needed from him is a password and the account number that will be provided to him. If anyone were to come in to try and collect his money, the password and account number must be recited in order to access his money.
"And the only thing we need from you now is the deposit." Blandine said. She gives him a weird look. "Why are you still holding onto your nose? Did my tongue turn you on?" She raises her eyebrows in seduction.
Harold sighs and puts his hand down, hoping the makeup is damaged. "No, it's nothing. "I don't have my entire sum with me. I'll deposit some now and more later." He pulls out two stacks of money from his pocket and slides them across the table.
"Stylish and rich? My type of femboy!"
Edgar watched as Harold was escorted away by Blandine. He waited several minutes until another banker came out to greet him. This is about five feet eight inches, bright green eyes and brown hair. The uniform is the same as the other banker; white buttoned collared shirt, black skirt and black heels. She looks to be in her late twenties.
"Hi, I'm Justine!" said the banker as she looked Edgar up and down.
"I'm Ed-! Um, Edward Edgar, Edger!" He seems to be stumbling on his words.
Justine gives a weird look. "Edward Edgar Edger? That's your name? Really?" She crosses her arms behind her breasts.
Edgar wonders internally why he had chosen to go with such an awkward name. "Yeah, that's me! What about it?!" He tries to sound tough like some street thug."
The banker just stares at him without saying anything for a few seconds. "You know we have security around here, right?"
"Tsk! Let's just get this over with!"
Justine shakes her head and leads him to her office.
Inside the office, she sits down and crosses one leg over the other. "Well, how can I help you?"
"I have a bunch of money. I just want to keep them safe from my enemies, you know?"
"No, I don't know. What are you talking about?"
Edgar tries to sound irritated. "Tsk! You're a banker, right? What do banks do? They keep other people's money safe?"
Justine gives a long sigh and stares at him without saying anything.
"Well? Can I open an account or do I have to see your manager?"
"You want to see the manager?" She stands up and walks to the door. "I'll see if Henriette is here."
Edgar stops as soon as he hears the name. It is the same name as spoken by the Goblin. "Did you say Henriette?"
Justine stops and turns around. "Yeah, I did. I'll go see her and we can kick you out for being a problem client." She exits the office and the door closes.
After a few minutes, the door opens. Edgar turns around and sees Justine with two security guards. "Um, what is this?"
She crosses her arms. "These security guards will escort you out now. I'll follow along so I can see."
Before protesting, the two guards grab Edgar and force him out the bank. The other patrons watch the scene unfold.
Outside, he sees Harold leaning against the wall.
"Everything good, Edward? What did I just see?"
Stella and Cecilia had put the makeup kit away and went out for breakfast. The place of choice was a cafe. A strawberry soda for the daughter and a coffee for the mom. Both had toasts with juniper berries.
When their food arrived, there was more food than expected. The extras include two alcoholic drinks.
"We didn't order these." Cecilia said to the waitress.
The waitress, a brunette with blue eyes in a maid uniform, smiles. "They came from that young man over there!" She nods towards a young man with fluorescent blue eyes, black hair, five feet ten inches, muscular, blue T-shirt, white shorts, and black shoes. His age is about late twenties. "Isn't he radiant?"
Stella and Cecilia both turn and watch as the radiant young man smiles and makes his way to their table. Four security guards immediately stand up to follow him.
He turns to the guards. "No need, boys!" He makes it to the table. "Drinks are on me! There's no requirement on when we're allowed to drink, right?"
Cecilia shakes her head. "We don't drink, so you can have them back now." She slides the drinks towards the radiant young man.
The radiant young man ignores her and looks at Stella. "Wow! You are very beautiful! I must have you!" Feeling the tension from Cecilia, he immediately turns to her. "With your mom's permission, of course!"
"I'm not interested in you!" Stella said and took a sip of her strawberry soda.
"That's your answer," Cecilia said, looking at the radiant guy. "So you can go now!"
The radiant young man shakes his head. "No, no! Don't be like that. I'll pay for everything."
Cecilia looks at her daughter. "Let's go, dear!"
"Okay, Mom! Let's go get Harold to beat up this guy."
The radiant young man makes an immediate show of thought. "Harold? So he is here?" He goes back to the four security guards. "Be on alert for the Leaf Wolf, boys!"
